“Quality comes first” will be the mantra for Ford Fusion for the year 2013

Since the last decade Toyota has been following the philosophy of monopoly on the water supply, which means selling a lot mean selling cheap. The sales number cannot exceedingly high over the night unless and until stepping into volume pricing territory. This is the case of Toyota. But as far as Ford is concerned it will be gunning to take that position with its latest model. The Japanese automaker is all set to unveil its latest model Fusion Sedan.

This model has got a very sporty and eye catchy look to keep Ford in the spotlight. Despite of the rivalry story ford has left no stone unturned to improve their product and a balanced focus between quality and volume. On the eve of press meet the Chief designer of Ford has stated that “Its quality matters at the end of the day. So quality comes first and sales record comes last.” A latest research by IHS Automotive reveals that Ford has never had the capacity to outproduce Toyota.

It is pretty clear from the evidence that Toyota will be very much hot on Ford’s heels as far as sales number is concerned. In today’s date Ford has the capacity to build 400,000 Fusions car on a single calendar year in the other hand its arch rival Toyota is very much capable of producing 500,000 Camrys on a single year. As far as last year’s sales record is concerned Camry has crossed the land mark of selling over 308,000 on a single year where as Fusion has managed to sell just 248,000 units on the same calendar year. Taking into consideration of all the issue Ford has made its mind to focus on quality to improve the customer base and brand reorganization for the year 2013.
